yeah, true. A year ago designers would have been all over this thread but if you look back over the last year, how many "contests" were actually scams and no one got paid jack shit? I'd bet at least 1/2 didn't pay. I know if I was a designer that did gfy contests, I sure as shit wouldn't participate in any more...

Slightly wrong attitude in my opinion. I know you want the best shit around, everyone does, but.. you can either offer 200 contest on GFY and see what you get, or pay a company like dickmans design or envisionext atleast double that and make demands on what you'd like to see, and get an outstanding logo.

..or you could try the design contest site too..can't remember it's name though, but I don't think 200 will be enough to spark the very best efforts of people.
