:stop Looking for good reads. Art of War, Prince, Getting to Yes, books of that nature.
Just got through a few books and am looking for more books that will help me in my business and everyday life. Stuff you can apply read directly from the book.

Lately I have read:
Art of War
Getting to Yes
The Prince
The 7 habits of highly Effective people.


Can anyone make some suggestions. Thanks a bunch in advance.

I also read Dale Carnegies book, How to win and influence people. So you sorta can see what I am looking for.

A lot of these sound like the typical rookie stock broker required reads. Did you ever read "Think and Grow Rich" That's another one that sounds like it belongs in your Library.

no i havent read it Chio. And I will, gonna put it on the list now. I am trying to get a good base, then an edge on what I already have behind me skills and knowledge wise. I took a big hit business related recently, so I am trying to motivate myself to go stronger ahead. And would like to have good tools to do it with. If that makes sense?

One thing that may help you (maybe not motivate) is organization. I used to get bogged down by everything I needed to do. I started using project management software to manage myself and employees ages ago and it really helped a lot. I have all my tasks in one easy to manage place. I find I get less overwhelmed and start getting a lot done when you just start banging stuff out one by one. Plus there is a nice bit of satisfaction from seeing things go off the list as done.

I wrote a post a long time ago about the software I use. It may help you get organized and be more productive.
