![]() As of late, there have been several attempts to discredit my company, Hostcentrex Technologies. We are a fairly new but growing hosting company that came onto the adult sense last year.
Several people have stated that we are resellers. Well this was true. At one point we did resell ev1/the planet, and really only provided the managed services end of our products. But as of late, we have moved into our own Colocations space, in Tampa, xTel at 60 Hudson in NYC, and now our latest venture in our PA data center owned by Burst.net. Hostcentrex is not a Webair, or ISPrime, both of which are great and have been helpful to us in the past. We are a small but growing company owned by 1 family. We are stable providing good support to our customer and control our growth. Average response time on support tickets is less that 5 minutes, with resolution generally in 20. At our Tampa IDC, we have gigE connections with Level3, BTN, New Edge Network, Global Crossings, and Cogent. Telx we have cross-connects with Level3, BTN, Yipes, Verio, AT&T, and Cogent. And at Brust.net I have access to BTN, Yipes/Level3, CTSI (Small region carrier) and Cogent. The Burst.net location was found in response to requests from our customer base to get away from larger IDCs located in major cities in direct response to the attack on 9-11 which caused major communications issues inside NYC and DC. So far the customers hosted at burst.net are extremely happy with the speed of their servers! Brust.net does allow adult services, but with in the allowed of US law. Brust.net has it's own adult brand called UNRESTRICTED.NET. Look, I don't mean to mislead people, and if I have, I am publicly and loudly saying I am sorry. I never meant too. It is true that in the beginning when we were starting out, I wasn't forthright with the fact that we were reselling someone else's services. As still even today, if I don't have the hardware instock, and a customer needs a server, I do lease it from one of the IDC operated. But that is not the norm. Anyway, that is really all I have to stay, and thank you for your time! If any one has any questions, please contact me via the information in my sig! JoeW
