I'f you're looking for fast bust in a digital slr, be prepared to buy one of the higher end cameras. I tell you, I miss the speed of my old F4.

Canons are very good. My favorite one overall is the 5D. But the fastest burst is the EOS 1D MarkII N, with 8.5 fps for up to 48 full res frames. They run about $3500 |

I have been looking at all the rebel xt's, what do you think of them? Remember we are amateurs,,,the more the camera itself can do for us the better.

The Canon 20D is fine and has a good burst. Just get some fast strobes.

		 Hi Deb

I really like the Digital Rebel for an amateur stepping up. It takes standard lenses and accessories, so you can grow with it. Getting a higher end SLR is overkill - especially if you're shooting for the web. Don't worry about megapixels. You'll have to resize the pics down anyway. In burst mode, it should be fast enough to freeze a stream of jizz in mid-air. |
