How to Quit Cigarettes. (I haven't smoked in 2 months)

Step #1: Switch to Skoal tobacco chew.

Step #2: After a week or so, switch to Nicorette Gum.

Step #3: After a week or so, switch to regular gum.

This is why it works: By switching to Skoal for a week or so, you defeat the ritual of holding a Cigarette to your mouth and inhaling it for nicotine. Defeating the ritual of smoking is key. Once you have successfully switched to Skoal, no matter how disgusting it is, the ritual becomes oral. Your new ritual for nicotine is putting it in your mouth, this is why switching to Nicorette won't be very difficult. Switch to regular gum & you're done with cigarettes for as long as your will power permits.

I've tried to quit many many times, I created this plan and it worked for me. I haven't smoked a cigarette in over 2 months.

Bookmark this thread & try it when you're ready, you'll live longer.

the method i used to quit was i got a cold , smoking killed my throat , slept alot , with in 2days the temptation for a smoke was gone , with in 3 cravings were gone , day 4 a fresh start , been a non smoker for about 4-5months , friends have tempted me , but will power wins out

not smoking any weed has turned me into the most irritable jumpy person lately, my nerves feel shot, which i'm pretty sure has caused me to smoke twice as much as i usually do. but fuck it, i'll deal with it eventually. if i can quit smoking weed, i can quit anything....

not thta i intend on completely quitting the ganja, i'd just liek to slow it down to the occasional puff,there's no need to be half as baked as i usually am, i do feel a lot perkier already...

use pot to quit tobacco. nicotine is water based and pot is oil based. makes all the difference when quitting.
