Why and How is Matt Millen Still the GM of the Detroit Lions?
Detroit is an NFL-worst 23-72 since Millen took control of football operations before the 2001 season. They have lost at least 10 games in all six of Millen's seasons, the second-longest streak in league history. The Lions were 2-12 entering Sunday's game.
This is one of the worst streaks in NFL history. He must have naked compromising pictures of the Ford family or something. |

Its just been announced that the Lions have fired 3 assistant coaches, but will be retaining Matt Millen for yet another year of ineptitude. Unbelievable!

it is amazing - didn't the Lions fans do some kind of protest and walked out during en masse during their last home game? he has to be one of the worst GM's in the history of the NFL or any pro sports league.

I remember reading several times that Millen is a favorite of old man Ford but the kids hate him and would fire him at the drop of a hat if the old man would let them.
