Is now the time to buy stocks?

I'm seriously considering putting a little money into the stock market right now. I think it will eventually rebound & i could make a ton off these seriously undervalued stocks in the long run. Is this a good plan or have i lost my fucking mind?

From what it sounds like, I would wait a little longer for them to go down more. But either way, you'll make it all back... long term baby, long term.

What is $10,000 in stock worth of a bankrupt company worth Just make sure that you invest in companies that are undervalued, not just a lot cheaper than what they used to be

Its a good time to buy stocks if you plan to ride a short term upward spike. Pick ones that have relatively high upward volatility. Be careful though, this market has not hit bottom yet. Don't ride too long or you'll go under when the market tanks some more.

Try bonds or hedge funds or short stocks.

Depends on what stocks your buying. I'd look into natural resource based stocks and good old blue chips like P&G or others that pay dividends. Stay away from the tech sector; you might get lucky but it's really just gambling, not investing, in this market.

Exactly. Don't plan on making $$ from them in just a year, and don't check them every day. It doesn't matter. Buy into a stock you think is underpriced, and one that you think will stick around in the long run - because that's where you can make a lot of $$.
