I was flipping thru my T.V. channels one day, when i stumbled upon a religious show that was talking about how Hollywood is promoting the use of witchcraft to our young people by making it look fun and harmless. They talked about Harry Potter movies having a hidden agenda and a bunch of other nutty stuff. Kinda scary actually(the religious show, not harry potter)

when I was a kid, I used to think that I MIGHT be able to fly. I even thought that the Million Dollar Man stickers could make me mega strong if I stuck them on my biceps. But even when I tried to fly, I had enough sense to try to fly FROM THE GROUND! So if it didn't work, I didn't hurt myself.

The kids in Harry Potter flew those brooms from off of the ground. How is a kid stupid enough to think that he/she needs a head start by jumping off of something? It never made sense to me even when I was a kid.
