The girls posing nude aren't (for the most part anyway) the ones doing the real sleazy stuff like installing spyware, spamming people, and such. Quote:

She was over 18 and made her own adult decisions, there is a lot of other ways people screw up their futures, you did not do it for her.
Atleast with the money she makes in porn, she can continue her college degree and get a real job (apparently not as a teacher or police-woman).. |

I thought you left the adult industry?

That being said, I'm perfectly capable of making a living in numerous other ways. I've already "started over". |

So the car dealership thing didn't work out. I figured it wouldn't. The last person a car dealership needs working for them is someone who has just found a conscious. Tell us about your business (since you have so much to say about ours). Is it like a MLM God company, do you make money on how many people you convert, and then you get a percentage from the people under you who convert people. Like a God Amway? |

Then he comes here and feed off GFY. Yup you're a saint Donny... Fucking Hypocrite :1orglaugh :1orglaugh :1orglaugh |

If you must know, I'm still working as a photographer and webmaster. The only difference is that now I'm photographing cars and managing dealer websites. When the local auto dealership hired me to create an online presence and online marketing campaign for them I started doing research. I spoke with dealers all over the area. The overwhelming feedback I received was that they didn't have time to photograph their inventory and put it online. Their internet sales managers told me they don't like doing anything "technical" with their websites (such as adding photos, changing descriptions or changing anything else that needed changed). Hey, what a need, eh? And right up my alley. I have the photo gear and "know how" to both photograph their inventory and update their websites. I found a company that does something similar in a different market and met with them, leasing their "back end" software to make my job a bit easier (don't have to develop it myself). And now I'm once again back in business for myself. Now I show up once a week to each client, photograph their inventory, figure out what they want changed on their website, and handle it. |

Stories like this are sad. It's not about morals, people decide those themselves, its a level of personal decency that a person holds. When it comes to pushing your personal, social, church, professional, or any other beliefs on someone else then you are violating their personal freedoms and liberties in the process. |

Are there other things in life that are selfish? Of course there are. Everywhere. My lifestyle was one that was very selfish and I'm willing to admit that. I've had other people from this industry (and in positions of "power") who tell me they agree with my decision and wish they had the balls to do the same thing, but tell me they can't because the money is just too good for them. Do you know what I say in response? Nothing of condemnation, that's for sure. I say "I understand". Because I do. I wanted to quit for a long long long time before I finally did. The money was too good and too easy. What's really weird is that I enjoy the "struggle" of living as a "normal" person. I love wondering where the money is going to come from to support myself. I can only describe it as "it makes me feel alive". As for why I come here, here's why: I love you guys. Most of you, anyway. If you want to know a secret read on: ********* travels all over the country talking to churches everywhere. Do you know what they tell churches about pornographers? That they've never met better people. That is a fact. And it's true. I've also said the same things to people. If you've been to a church service where ********* (or Donny) has spoken, you'll undoubtedly hear something almost identical to this: "Pornographers are the most 'real' people you've ever met. They don't hide things about themselves. They let it all hang out. They're not worried about who will condemn them for being human." At the churches I spoke on the weekend of my first public speaking engagement I publicly stated that the worst pornographers I've ever met are put to shame by some of the Christians I've met from my past. Now, the real goal is to bring the "honesty" of the porn business into the church. What a great day that would be! When people can speak freely about any aspect of their lives without fear of condemnation we'll really be accomplishing something, now won't we? |

You're right. That's why I'm enjoying getting involved in the church again, because right now there are many people who agree with what you said and are trying to change things. One of the best selling books on the Christian book lists is a book by Donald Miller called Blue Like Jazz. He addresses the very same concerns you have. He basically tells Christians they have no right to condemn anyone, and Christians are reading the book like crazy. With so many million Christians around this is something that will take a long long time to change, but there are those who are trying to do so. |
