I took mine in for Blizzaks last week, and the owner of the tire store called me back to show me the condition of the OEM Conti's.They were down to the wear bars.My E55 is an 06' that I bought new at the beginning of summer.
The car just turned 7500 miles on it and all the tires are shot.
That's a new record for me on Conti's.Worst I did previously on a set was on my 911 and I got just under 10k on those.

What tires are you running on your E55?

Grand Cherokee Laredo and a dodge intrepid. Both paid off, and we are trading in one of them in the spring. Either getting a 2006 or 2007 Grand Cherokee srt8 or a 300c srt8. Havent decided yet, but who knows might have to go with something else cause we really need a 3rd row of seats with the new baby due in May that will make 3 kiddos. :winkwink:

ill post a pic as soon as i get 30 posts, but for now dodge ram with a 9" lift. 40" tires and 20" rims.

Peaches 12-12-2006 01:10 PM

These pics show why I went with the 5.7 Hemi instead of the SRT8 - there's so much material so low to the ground that I'd rip it off the first time I drove it on mountain roads :( I've already pulled off the front left side of the bumper and going up the hill, the trailer hitch cover got scraped off. :upsidedow

12.2s stock on the SL55 with Nitrogen filled tires. 295/35/20 w/ 20" Asanti F116-B wheels

Could get it down to mid-11's with pulley, ECU, and headers ...

The SL600 and 65's will do 11's stock, and with a ECU/TCU will do 10's easy. SL600 doesnt have the AMG resale value though, and the SL65 is almost $200k vs $125k for the SL55

Yeah, you posers :winkwink:

They were selling them for $500 under MSRP. I alsmost talked Hellpuppy, who has the 300 SRT8 and an Explorer, into buying one just because the price was so good :)

But even w/o the SRT8, I bet at least 1/2 the valets tell me how cool it is that it has so much horsepower - I bet yours just hauls total ass!!!

just got back from driving the h3, for about 150 miles . . . I think it's too small now . . how many miles do you go on a tank of gas on the highway?

Well, if you're buying an H2, it's not for the fuel economy, lol. I get about 10-12 mpg. I never drive highway only, so I couldn't tell you what that would be, but my onboard computer always says about 300-340 miles until empty after I fill up. I think the fuel tank is 32 gallons or so.

I love the 469-hp Mercedes-Benz CLS55 AMG, sure it handle like a dream but it cost 80,000.00. Taking a 170-hp tiburon hyundai and making it go 10.7sec with 450-hp to the wheels,
PRICELESS.

but believe me, nothing beats the feeling of smoking a BMW M5 series with a korea car LOL :)

MSV 12-12-2006 02:18 PM

Yeah ... but you're still driving a Hyundai

nikki99 12-12-2006 02:40 PM

I donīt drive :thumbsup

justinsain 12-12-2006 02:47 PM

I'm on my third jeep Cherokee. I put about 250,000 miles on them and then give them away and get another. I've also had this 1981 CJ 8 Scrambler for 11 years now and it's a blast to drive. My dream garage would be a 2007 Tahoe, a 1965 Corvette roadster style and my Scrambler.
