A migrant worker threatens the girlfriend of his employer during a standoff at a traffic overpass in Xi'an in north China's Shaanxi province Friday Dec. 8, 2006. The man, who took the woman hostage to demand payment of about US$400 from his employer, was subdued by police after a one-hour stand-off. The woman was rescued unhurt.

4000 yuan or 400 dollars can be as much as one years pay

and for that you work EVERY day maybe 10 or 12 hours , and probably no easy work either

so yeah he wants his dough , in the end he will probably be jailed and his boss the real crook will probably never pay or be punished for not paying his workers . .
