yes. where you post, look under and it will say upload. just upload a file and click it and click link to image and then put it in the post area. youll figure it out

i believer there are gallery / thumbnail plugins for this http://wordpress.org/support/topic/57521 looks pretty neat! I would think that would really kick ass how it transitions into the larger image
