The whole cult that Oprah and Dr. Phil lead thrives on making people - women in particular - feel bad about themselves. They hide that behind pretending to care but if nobody cried on their shows or were made to feel like complete failures for not living the 'perfect' lives of the hosts than both of them and their clones would be on the street.
