The 6th billion spam was recently made ! According to this article, Hawaii is leading in spam consumption !!!

And funkmaster, the term "spam" came from a Monty Python skit, where one of the guys was trying to sell a can of spam, and just kept repeating his message over and over... and over.. and so on. You get the idea.

Yeah, spam is big in hawaii.

I lived on the Big island for 13 years, on the Hilo side.

We had a wal-mart open up about 5 years ago, (literally, front page news) and their promotion was a 20lb bag of rice, and can of spam for like 4 bucks.

People got into fights, I kid you not. They sold out in 20 mins or something crazy like that.

I don't care for the stuff myself, but everyone who was born and raised there that I knew loved spam. *shudders*
