Adding a second hard drive to a members area

OK I have a small problem. My main server is full. I want to add more content to the members area. Whats the best and easiest way of doing this?

Can the members area go over two hard drives on the same domain?
The current hd is 340 Gig. Would it make more sense to get a 750 gig and copy everything onto that, giving me a further 400 gig?

Thanks

your host should be able to help you with it.

Seriously man... It sounds like you need a new host that actually knows something.

I've just added a 2nd HD for members area content and it works fine. I don't know the technical details as I have a tech guy who does work on my servers as I know nothing about server stuff.

But, as I understand it, he made a symlink from a folder in the current members area domain to a new content folder on the 2nd drive.

So yes, it is possible

OK it seems if you make your symbolic link from inside the members area to another hard drive or directory, then all is well. But for it to be password protected it muct be from the members area for CCBill to work.

Hope that helps others in the same boat.
