Autoblogger Pro Stand Alone Update 1.10 (Xenon) Releases Tomorrow

I've got the guts of Autoblogger Pro ripped open on the operating table in my SSH window right now.

"Nurse? Scalpel." Changelog is here: http://www.abpsa.com/changelog Tomorrow (December 1st), you'll be able to regenerate your archive and download the new version. I'm pulling an all-nighter to make sure every last bit of bug-fixing and feature-adding goodness is in there before we sew it up. I apologize in advance if I'm unavailable via ICQ, etc, while I get this ready and then sleep for about 20 hours. |

Glad to hear it. Any feedback on the new version is appreciated. I've added a ton of stuff recently, squashed a lot of the bugs that we missed in the beta, and generally added a bunch of filters/enhancements to make everything smoother.

We can't help Google's annoying GData API (hehe), but WordPress is sure cooking with gas now -- you can even post out feeds that have NO date information with WordPress puking (it has two ways of "faking" a date), post random headers/footers (from a LIST of random headers and footers), and a host of other major changes. Woo hoo! |

Yeah, now hosts that have an improper configuration will no longer create a duplicate post problem.

Obviously, we can't ask EVERY host to fix their settings, so we just "dumbed down" how it operates in the background. There are a few different protections against it, from the pull to the post. You can now set a line in your functions.php to "ignore" posting errors caused by improper configuration. Toss in a ticket if you'd like a tutorial on it. |
