Crashes and other problems... It's a piece of shit IMO and so is IE7.

I'm using the old Firefox.

Nothing worse than upgrading and finding out that your extensions don't work.
It makes it more of a downgrade.

Hasn't crashed on me yet. IE7 crashes constantly. Well, it doesn't crash as much as it just hangs indefinitely.

not crashing for me... I'm using it on a Mac... it really does not perform very well in tight memory situations, but neither 1.5 did not...

firefox def stole microcrap's ideas for this version..

In the old firefox it crashed/locked up too but many times people wouldnt notice because it happened silently.. on the old firefox i would often check my running processes and notice firefox still running even though it wasnt open ( silent crash eating ram ) but now they use the same idea as microsoft and tell you it crashed.. so it seems like it happens more..

For all the glory firefox users praise ff with it certainly doesnt stand up to expectations in real life scenario's.. When i got firefox 2.0 i went to a few sites surfed around and crash , within a few minutes its down.. ie7 hasnt crashed yet.. cant really say much more about that . firefox 2.0 crashes often ie7 doesnt. ( for me anyways )

I removed all plugins and 1.5 before installing 2.0, I ran it for a few days with no issues..

After I added in script, ie tab, tags, validators and ff toolbar, it started to crash. Slowly the addons have been updating. And when it crashes you can restore the ssion, so it isn't a big deal, it's just annoying.

I have had the problem of FF2 running silently after crashing, have 4 instances of it running at once. FF2 crashes every 30 minutes. On two different PCs of mine. Just installed it on this brand new laptop and its crashing constantly.

I have that problem of silent crashing as someone above called it. It says it's still running when it isn't if I open the task manager. The only way around it is to reboot and that's a pain. Didn't notice this before I upgraded.

Never had it crash once, but sometimes when loading a PHP page it pops up a window to save it rather than just load it and that is a bit annoying.
