LOL someone sent me an ICQ just the other day that did a suggested keyword search on zango for "xxx" and one of the suggestions came back with something like " free disney xxx "Again, I am not fluent in zango, but I thought it only popped up on the keywords or URL's that were purchased.
Wouldn't that mean that mainstream is using this against their competition too? So unless the kid did a search for porn they aren't going to get hit with cams, but if they do a search for My Little Pony, they might get Barbie popping up.
Right?
Do you think all words that we use for adult sites are exclusivly used for adult and none of them also have common uses in mainstream ?
What about "disney webcams" ? the word "teen" how often is that associated with adult sites? I am sure there are a good bit of terms that have porn and non porn uses that kids could be looking for.ICQ: 86364801 Email: will [at] innovativeassets [dot] com

He sounds like he is older then you or at least more mature. here he is bringing up very good questions and concerns about something you have stated you know very little about and you have claimed does not affect you but yet you are in here making insults at the person who is actually doing something good.ICQ: 86364801 Email: will [at] innovativeassets [dot] com

We don't need to send the FTC to this board.if someone could send a complaint to http://www.ftc.gov/ there is a button on their site and send them a link to this thread that would be very helpful (I can't I live in the uk and I don't think it works for me)
You can definitely complain about Zango to the FTC though. They know what Zango is up to but will surely prioritize their list of scummy companies based on the number of complaints received.I like pie.Comment

baddog, you're such a dumbass. You're sole purpose in this thread is to troll jacklaidlaw because he has some additional zango information? Admit it, you're just a sigwhore aren't you baddog?
Anyway, yes they had live cam feeds 10+ years ago. For such an old fucker, did you get into the internet late? There were cam reflectors, and cams long long ago. How about White Pine? Do you remember them? Or the Cornell CU-SEEME?- Free Premium Domain Lists and Tools at Clickmojo.com

From: http://www.ftc.gov/opa/2006/11/zango.htm
(The FTC press release concerning the proposed consent agreement with 180 Solutions/Zango)
"The agreement will be subject to public comment for 30 days, beginning today and continuing through December 5, after which the Commission will decide whether to make it final.
Comments should be addressed to the FTC, Office of the Secretary, Room H-135, 600 Pennsylvania Avenue, N.W., Washington, D.C. 20580.
The FTC is requesting that any comment filed in paper form near the end of the public comment period be sent by courier or overnight service, if possible, because U.S. postal mail in the Washington area and at the Commission is subject to delay due to heightened security precautions."
There's more stuff about the FTC and Zango here, including an analysis of the proposed agreement to "aid public comment."
The FTC snail mail address listed in bold above is as good a place as any to submit comment about Zango; be sure to relate your comment in some way to the proposed consent agreement/settlement, though, or they will likely not give your comment much consideration.

We would need some major awareness brought to this, in order to have any kind of effect probably. Strong letters written who make good solid points and raise issues they may not have considered. I would love to see Jayeff come up with something we could all print, sign and mail in too. Anyone who has read his thoughts knows what I mean. From: http://www.ftc.gov/opa/2006/11/zango.htm
