The gizmo gods hate me
First I lost my cellphone (and all my contacts...waaaah), and now I am packing up my 14-month-old laptop for the second time in a month to go out for repair via FedEx. I got it back only 2 weeks ago after the display died, and when I turned it on it was acting funny... audio cracklings, choppy videos. WTF?
SMART Failure Predicted on Hard Disk 0: TOSHIBA blah blah WARNING: Immediately back-up your data and replace your hard disk drive. A failure may be imminent  Good thing I just backed this fucker up before it went out the first time, and haven't saved much since!Off to FedEx... |
