I'm doing an online store selling non-adult merchandise. I was thinking paypal, does anyone know somewhere thats better than paypal? also where is a good place to buy a shopping cart?

Check out Internet Billing Company. They have a product called Catalog Complete which features a store builder and shopping cart. They also will handle your credit card and check charges.

get a merchant account and use www.netbilling.com Ibill will charge you a fat %:

$0-$9,999 15% 15.0%
$10,000-$24,999 14% 13.5%
$25,000-$49,999 13% 12.5%
$50,000-$99,999 12% 11.5%

Authorize.net !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its the way to go with non-adult and you will not be dissappointed! I am using it for 4 sites on 1 account and could use it for 100 sites if i wanted

And you not paying 15%

Your looking at 1.8-3.25% of transaction and like a 20 cent service fee per charge

Netbilling will do the same and I only pay .30 cents a transaction flat. especially helpful when doing higher ticket items
