wordpress is a standalone on your own server where as blogger is hosted for you...wordpress imo is better

There is also a hosted WP. wordpress.org is where you can download WP...wordpress.COM is the hosted WP. I wouldn't advise using it for adult though, as I know a few people that have had their sites zapped on there. Same with blogger.
