Dual monitor setup question. Need help
I just got a 22" monitor and I want to use it on my laptop. I have never used dual monitors before. Now what I wan't to do is to have one screen resolution on my laptop monitor and other resolution on the external monitor. I don't want to use both monitors at the same time but individually.
Now the problem is my laptop doesn't seem to recognize the second monitor. I can see the picture on both monitors (when I use them togather) but the resolution is the same on both. When I press "Identify" button, I get nr."1" on both monitors. I guess I should get nr. "1" on the first monitor and nr. "2" on the second one. Anyone have any similar expriance or know how to fix this??? This is driving me crazy because I can't find ANY information on Google and nobody seems to know what to do. |
