Dream Job? - GoFuckYourself.com

Before anyone berates me for this (yeah, right) I should say that this post is a daydream, not anything serious. I know that, as a Dream Job, nobody is going to be lining up saying "Gosh, we want someone for exactly that! Here's a check!" ;)

So, here's the dream job I keep thinking of... To get it off my chest, if you will...

I'd love to get paid 5 figures a year to be a "remote in-house" photographer... Someone who shoots for a large outfit, but works from home. The idea would be that I get paid to do X sets a month, raises or lack thereof being (and keeping the job, of course) determined by how well the photos go. Expense account, so that the employer pays the models, pays for some equipment, etc. and my salary is actually a salary.

So every month I do my shoots, and the employer get the rights. (I'd like some rights myself, to have a portfolio, and to feel like a photographer... Be able to make a book or a gallery show some day.) I'd shoot some of my own style, plus stuff the employer needs. I get paid a monthly salary, and have a company CC / checkbook to pay for certain expenses with. I get to stay here and continue my education, they get some interesting content.

Why this job? Because sometimes I get sick of trying to get rich on my own, and would be thrilled just to get by. Self-employment has a lot of opportunities, but also a lot of hassle! There, that's my dream. Sometimes it helps to get overly optimistic ideas out of your head. ;)

So, in the spirit of sharing... What is your dream job? Preferably stuff that is only as unrealistic as this, not like "a million a month to jerk off" or whatnot. ;)

i dream about 50% of TGP's got down and we can earn the money as before

I'd hire you but I think I will go to the unemployment office and hire someone with experience and who has been out of work for a while and knows he is lucky to work for me at the going rate, but thanks anyway. I do need a photographer to shoot exclusive photos for our AVS, but your resume is in the trash heap now

Can't you have a job, and still dream of a better one? Even if you are happy with what you do, there must be silly fantasies of what would be ideal.

If you just performed better than 50% of all TGP's you still could
make money....There is only competition if you try to sell stuff
from the same league.......rise above and you'll have no
competition........in short your dream can come true!

Let's see i come into the office at around 9:00......co-workers are my best friend,Bosses are my little sister and brother in law (I know i know, but they got into the bus. long before i even thought of it) only have to work 6 hours a day....get paid well and look at naked chicks all day.

Besides a job in sports, PORN Is the job for me!!!

Only cause you ask for to much, your dreams are lofty, but tell me about the reality, I can't make an honest call based on dreams......Even nice dreams.
