Do you guys see more downtime of your hosting provider's network lately? The last month my sites are more down than ever before, particular in the last 2 weeks. My hosting company says it has all to do with Worldcom. They told me that everybody wants to move to other networks other then the ones of Worldcom to be save. It could be a reason, but I don't know or it's the real reason. The fact remains that I'm not interested in that explanation and simply want my sites up no matter what.

heh, how would people not using worldcom have anything to do with your network not working.
that's a load of bullshit. they're hoping you're just another cluebie who reads papers and tries to relate everything you read to what's happening in your life..

Well I haven't had anything go wrong with our network, Strictly Hosting has been running strong for a log time now...knock on wood... and this the first time i've heard of worldcom causing problems with any hosting company.

They are blowing smoke up your ass .....
Sorry I'm being so blunt but I do admin work for a few people and have not seen any movement yet on worldcom lines people are standing firm till they see how this all plays out. And anyways how can a host be taken down from people moving off of worldcom lines? It just don't make any sense. For real hosting answers talk to me. However if you like being lied to stay with your current host. <-- worldcom causing your host downtime .... thats classic |
