a deal i've ran across

i'm a unix sysadmin that was referred here by one of my clients. i've been doing a lot of work for a colocation facility and recently they lost their highest bandwidth customer (because he went under)... This colo facility doesn't want to dick around and simply wants to replace the customer asap to keep the bandwidth utilization high. SO, they asked me if I knew anyone since i do work for a variety of high bandwidth clients. None of my clients are in the position to move at the moment but one of them said to post here....

Bottomline - this colo company is looking for a client that can pull 75 to 100 Mbps and will sell it for around $65 per meg.

please email me as i'm not a regular user of this board yet...

btw that breaks down to around .20 cents per GB if you think in GB's rather than Mbps.

they might go lower, i dunno.

"cheap" bandwidth around here usually goes for ~ .50/gig i believe. this is pretty damn cheap if you ask me.

what carriers do you use?

I know of someone (a global backbone), who is around $66 per Meg for 100M and can get to around $40 per Meg if you want a GigE handoff. (Bandwidth is 100% guaranteed and it comes with an SLA).

Let me know if anyone might be interested and I can shoot them more info.
