How to get images to show up thru email ...
I noticed by default MS blocks all images from
coming up on email so everytime i open outlook and get emails with graphics only 25% of the time they work. Does anyone know how to send out emails so the graphic/image shows up on the email to outcome the default MS image block ? ![]() |

Squishy...
Seriously you don't have a clue do you? so why post something when you don't know what you are talking about? Webgurl..If you are talking about how to send out HTML emails with graphics in them and be guaranteed that the recipient will see the graphics in the mail, you don't have any control over that..its dependant on the recipients settings in their email program/system..there are many out there besides Outlook. The best bet is to send plain text emails if you want to insure that the message/ad is seen. You can always include a link to a HTML page that is on your server and if they choose to click that link they will see a page there with graphics..but thats not a real solution either as many people won't click links in emails they receive. The reason that the setting in Outlook defaults to blocking images is because its a security risk to view HTML formatted emails that have graphics in them..its an easy way to hide a trojan/virus or executable file. |
