ionCube Loaders is what you need

Simply create a ioncube dir in your root www and install Find out what your server is and download the correct version here http://www.ioncube.com/loader_download.php P.S. No it is not serverside installed like Zend, nothing more needs to be done |

No, you don't need ioncube to be installed by the admin.

One of the reasons to use ioncube is that you can encode your program in it, create a ../ioncube directory, and add the loader library for your OS, to that directory, and call it good.

Yeah, listen to the guys above. You need the loader files. Shouldn't have to install anything on the server to get ioncube encoded scripts working.

what is your server's chip? if it's 64-bit, choose x86-64. If it's not, choose x86. It most certainly won't be a mac, so you forget ppc.

I figured that out last night but I couldn't install it, I ran some installation-helper file and it told me that I couldn't do "Run-time Loading Installation" on this server (something was disabled for security reasons) so I contacted the host to do it for me |
