The judicial branch is the one that interprets the constitution. Not the President, not the Congress, not us. Bush is trying to find a loophole so that he doesn't have to abide by the Supreme Court's ruling. If you don't like the Supreme Court and the judicial branch, so be it. We can do away with it and become the type of government we are fighting against in the Middle East. But right now, I prefer that my government abide by the constitution as interpreted by judicial branch. I'm not even arguing the law at all, I just want the proper branches to make the proper decisions.
I understand your stance though. You have to agree with the talking points. Just as if Bill Clinton signed this act, you'd be doing the same thing the Democrats are doing on this board. The parties have gotten so ass backwards that the so-called Republicans are supporting a President who is about as liberal as any Democrat we could possibly put in power.
Remember the day when Republicans stood for less government? It is amazing how times have changed.
