Travel issue...need to go to korea and australia

Need to go to Korea soon.
however if i come home i need to fly way back out there to australia soon after.

anyone ever get a round the world ticket?
worth it?

Ideally i would just go from toronto to korea..korea to brisbane...and brisbane to toronto.

but that gets me away from the house for so long.

travelling kinda sucks
i have turned into a homebody

REnt a private jet.
Seriously though, check out travelocity and see if they have anything, then call them and request to speak to a travel agent, they can usually make you a nice itinerary.

You never realize how big the Pacific Ocean is until you fly from North America to Korea

12 hour flight on Korean Air - shitty food to boot

you should be able to get a round trip ticket from TO to Australia - with an extended stop -over in Korea - I know that JAL, ANA and a few others do like that

you might consider going through Japan and then getting a local round trip from Japan to Korea... then continue the trip to Australia - or do it on the way back from Australia

a good travel agent should be able to pinpoint this method

LOL

true true

you know the flight from NY to Ireland was only about 6-8 hours as I recollect.. gives you a reference as to how much bigger the Pacific is.

RTW wouldn't work because you said you want to come back to your origin city before the end of your trip and that is usually a no no.

Better to combine it or two separate tickets if you don't want to be away for that long.

If you are not too good at jetlag I would combine it because you will be just over the jetlag in Korea and feeling good then come back to Toronto and take a week or two to get over that trip and then be off again and have to adjust to a new time again.

Whereas if you flew from Korea to Brisbane you would be ready to go once in Brisbane as it's basically the same time zone as Korea

Don't let me put you off Singapore Airlines but a rather large bolt fell off one of their planes as it took off from Sydney yesterday.

It punched a nice hole through the roof of a house

a RTW ticket normally has to go one direction. Toronto to Korea is west then Korea to Brisbane is very slightly east.
