do i have to pay taxes ?

they'll send you a form if you make over $600. they're required.

at least for US folks. i don't know jack shit about taxes outside of the US. i just pay uncle sam his % so i can live in america and watch less and less money each year go towards education and other useful things, even though i'm paying more each year..

If you made around 25gran or less you don't need to pay since you usa company that send you the money doesn't have yoru sin... if they do you have to pay taxes...

I sold one on my domains with one sponsor that had around $250.00 per week recurring.. to a guy in Canada I found out US $250.00 in Canada is like $325.00... Now one of his friends wants to buy one from me..... Any way I told him don't pay taxes. He didn't ask me if it was against the law...

US companies sends 1099 only to US residents; he lives in Canada & thus won't receive anything. I don't agree with the 25k, if somebody hates you and report you to the government they will investigate and find about the money anyway

You could however, set up a bank account offshore like in the Caymen Islands for example, and just never pay taxes on that money. I wouldn't keep it all in one bank though, ever see the movie "Blow"?

Yes, i'v seen movie Blow he lost all his money because he went to jail.What about if i would get all my money from my bank account and put it in some safe or another account but on different name (shit....they will see where the money went

He lost all his money, because he put it in a foreign bank account - in Panama - when the rules changed there - so did his bank balance - from millions to zero.

I don't know what the rules are in Canada, but here in the states - you can't open accounts in fake names - or use a fake SSN without commiting another crime.

Paying taxes sucks ass. In the US - if you are self employed - the amount you make between like 60 and 80K is taxed at more than 50% depending on the state you live in. (yes I know some countries are worse).

NOT paying taxes and going to jail is probably worse though.

Chances are - they wouldn't put you in jail, but by the time they found out - you would owe a ton in interest and penalties. At least that is hoow it works in the US. Sometimes it takes YEARS - I just got a notice for my 2000 taxes that they thought I owed them more money for blah, blah, blah...

You'll sleep better at night anyway...
