so a title goes into <title>, a description goes into <description>, a link goes into <link> and so on...
You could add some tags to include the info on number of pictures and the type of gallery and stuff like that. This whole old school | separator stuff in the <description> really lowers the functionality of your RSS feed.

This is a first for me or Naughty America to not provide a quality product and I appologize.

I don't have any excuses for why this is not top notch quality and I've just let you down by not keeping on top of it.

I will have our new RSS feeds done and hopefully active by Tuesday and I will let you know when it is ready.

Also, I did get your email and I did reply so hopefully my emails are not going into your junk mail folder as I know my email address tends to do that with free email accounts like yahoo etc....

The whole line in the description is so you can use your TGP software to capture the feed and add galleries automatically... I assume...

So changing one aspect for promotion of blogs will kill the TGP'ers ability to use it for that purpose I guess.

I agree with you V_RocKs, this is a gallery RSS feed, so Mark if you would like to please Jace, do a separate blog RSS feed. The only thing that could be missing in this gallery RSS feed is a link to a thumbnail, which would come in handy for some TGPs.

ah, well, no where does it say this is for TGP's, so I assume when I read someone is creating rss feeds, I assume they are for everyone, not just tgp's or blog alone

I don't even mind the single line of text, if that line was linked and had at least one image.....

so, I didn't want to come off like an asshole, so instead of just yelling that it doesn't work, I will give advice

The feeds are off to a good start, but how about letting us customize what is in the feed? Like give us the option to have it how they are now, but also let us make that line of text linkable, and also give us the option of having a pthumb, or even a full sized picture.That way the tgp guys are happy, the blog guys are happy, and even some people that haven't used rss feeds before can use them for other things

The best thing sponsors that are releasing rss feeds in their program do these days is give tons of options and features that the affiliate can customize themselves

that's what content:encoded is for, and you need to add the
xmlns:content="http://purl.org/rss/1.0/modules/content/"
for that to work...

Adding <elements> to your feed is a no no which is why I have taken
it upon myself to make the TGP Module. Feel free to help out

Our original launch of our RSS feed for our Blogs and FHG?s was premature. We have gone back and redesigned the system using affiliate commentary and specs to make them more user friendly and more sophisticated for affiliate use.
The engine has been rewritten to be usable with everything. The RSS feed for Free Hosted Galleries is fully customizable and will be able to automatically display the text description with a link to the Free hosted gallery with your reseller ID in it.
More importantly when you subsribe to the RSS feed for our BLOG through your affiliate account you will be able to have the latest sites linked from the blog carrying your reseller ID. We have now started adding an image and link to our tours in every blog which will in turn carry your reseller ID. Previously the bogs worked a bit different so you didn?t really have that latest effect, which apparently caused some functionality issues.

To get direct easy access to our RSS feeds. Just simply log into your affiliate account, click on the icon at the top or to the left after logging in that says ?Hosted Galleries?. Once you are inside ?Hosted Galleries? you will have the choice of either of our RSS feed options. Either FHG Rss to get the Free Hosted Galleries delivered directly to you, or Blog RSS to get the Blogs directly to you.

There are many uses for blogs and fhg RSS feeds. They can automatically update pages or sections of your sites if set up properly. Currently we offer links to blog software sites that are paid and free software. We also have instructions on how to apply these feeds. We will be demonstrating next week through text instructions as well as video tutorials on how these usefull tools can help you maximize profits as a webmaster. Like give us the option to have it how they are now, but also let us make that line of text linkable, and also give us the option of having a pthumb, or even a full sized picture.That way the tgp guys are happy, the blog guys are happy, and even some people that haven't used rss feeds before can use them for other things The best thing sponsors that are releasing rss feeds in their program do these days is give tons of options and features that the affiliate can customize themselves
