don't have time to read the whole thread but in case no one else mentions it I'd like the notification emails to have the site name instead of "you made a sale for 43545-2323" or something like that as it does now

Can you do what lightspeed does and have lifetime credit for affiliates.. For example if I send a signup they stay for 2 months and cancel and 5 months later they sign up again through direct type in.. can we still get the credit?

I second that! And if it hasn't already been clearly mentioned, I'd like to see referred affiliate sales with MY $ payout % (my cut) displayed in the main display, not a totally separate area... although I don't see anyone else doing it this way either (ie NATS)... wish they would, actually! You know, it might look something like this:

Transactions for %TODAY% or %DATE_RANGE%
MY referral sales - - - - - - - - - -

MY referred affiliate's sales - - - -

SUM - - - -

***
Same for check reports, as I did see someone else mention earlier

and... BUMP for the best thread on any webmaster board ever. We may actually be accomplishing something here that will directly affect the bottom line. Wow. Never thought I'd see the day! lol

- Have the possibility to charge euros. (more language options would be neat too, I sort of need finnish joinpages ;))

- When you go live with the new system, please please, let affiliate program owners/NATS/MPA3 etc guys know WELL ahead of time if the new system isn't compatible with the scripts. (like different data from datalink etc) Ideally the 3rd party softwares would work just as they do now though.

Hi Mark, well, I agree with many of the ideas posted here...I think the most important ones are:

1. One affiliate id for all the client accounts.
2. Faster system where affiliates can check historical stats.
3. Debit cards as a payment option.

I think the actual design is fine

2 more suggestions Corvette:

1. The ability to search for affiliates by partial name. For example, if you want to make sure that the hypothetical company "Adware Inc" is not an affiliate, you should be able to search for that string or substring. No way to do that now.

2. The ability to override the "Affiliate does not want their address disclosed" option that affiliates are given. Like most programs, I forbid affiliate signups from Russia, China and other countries popular with known scammers, but the fact is that I have trouble enforcing this because affiliates can hide their address from me. You would find that program owners can proactively head off a lot of trouble for CCBill if you removed this option or allowed program owners to override it. I'm not sure why CCBill even offers this option to affiliates; it's just asking for trouble as near as I can tell. At the very least the country corresponding to the address or wire destination should be viewable by the program owner.

Actually 3 suggestions...

3. Very minor, but the email that program owners get when a new afffiliate signs up says "A new partner has just signed up..." As you probably know, that word, "partner", has certain legal connotations and should be changed. I believe this cannot be customized by the program owner. It might also be handy to show the IP address that the affiliate used when they signed up along with the other information already shown in the email.

I definately would not want my affiliates to have access to the name, email and physical address of our members.

Sorry, but that's a bad bad idea.

When checking affiliates traffic and sales I have to open a window to see the affiliqates details. How about turning the Affiliates Details link into their name so I do not need to open every window.

My suggestion is also to incorporate some nats and mpa3 features.
Program owners could have more tools helping affiliates to promote - gallery generation with ccbill ID it's a MUST.

I have avoided using programs that are purely CCBill due to the limitations of the interface, some of the suggestions in this thread would make it extremely appealing to those of us who have stayed away for the lacking features. Best of luck engineering the new CCBill, I for one will definitely give it another go when it goes live.

you guys definately need epassporte as a few others have mentioned.

europeans are getting raped with the bad $ exchange rate, if you paid using epass at least we could use it to pay for other things (hosting/design/etc) before having to convert it.

a lot of other great suggestions in this thread, bring on the new interface

this would be a cool feature

I input a affiliate ID of one of my affiliates and a per signup amount say $25 and it generates a report of how much money id make or lose if that affiliate was on a $25 per signup with my site vs. recurring

Also would be cool to have it for an overall subaccount

Pretty easy calculation it would look at initial and recurring signups then calculate the rebills etc

I don't know if this has been mentioned but I would prefer 1 check per month.

4 checks per month is a waste of time and paper IMHO.
I would much prefer 1 check

Is CCBill still taking suggestions?

Please include a feature that allows site owners to easily grab a list of all their member's email addresses.

How about deleting programs that you no longer use? It can be a pain in the ass to be an affiliate of 100 programs and only really use 5 of them.

I'll give you a tip to go with the story...

Getting back into the TGP market for a bigger picture project I was going through my old programs that I have, and still promote here and there while out of the game.

Checking my old CCBill affiliate console I figure, "hey there's a link in here to my promo code, banners, and their affiliate shit so I can save myself all KINDS of time".

Wrong.

Almost ALL of them were dead or broken links. So I had to track down old log in's, accounts, and such to keep from signing up again.

So start with keeping that shit current. It should be mandatory between BOTH CCBill, and the affiliate. It reinforces they are legit.

Also, how about you finally get on the ball with some, or the...

A C H payment options

if you guys can make a list of sub account with checkboxes so we can check off what sub account affiliates we want to email

Not for affiliate area, but for members support:

Allow members to reset their login automatically by submitting their email or login information into a form. The same way it's done for forums like GFY. That'll cut down 80% of support inquiries from members regarding login problems.

As a program owner, I would like the option of approving affiliates. Far too many are signing up with false information, and I want to know who is promoting us.

I love the idea of members being able to reset their password, preferably forcing them to choose something new that wont set off site security.

Someway for those sponsors using cascading systems to ask for my Current ID, instead of automatically assigning me a new non-linked affiliate code.

Also really need the WM referral commision percent showed somewhere on the report. I keep seeing too small $$$s being credited, and never received an answer from support about why it's looks like somebody maybe changed to .01% instead of 10.00%.

Oh, forgot to mention, can add expected check/wire amounts? Some affiliates get checks, some get wires, some every 1 week, I personally get every 4 weeks, but it is difficult to figure exactly the amount to expect

Thanks

A recap of my list:

1.-A link code that uses the paysites domain instead of CCBills.
2.-Campaign tracking for affiliates.
3.-Shopping cart for online zip downloads and movie clips.
4.-A FHG system that exports in any format including a RSS feed. (this system will support unlimited thumb sizes and multiple fields for descriptions including a field that will accept formatted html for blog posts.)
5.-Cascade Billing
6.-An advanced banner manager would be nice.
7.-...more later

Oh, forgot to mention, can add expected check/wire amounts? Some affiliates get checks, some get wires, some every 1 week, I personally get every 4 weeks, but it is difficult to figure exactly the amount to expect

Thanks
Jscott, you can do this now. Keep drilling down in the admin if you are not seeing it.

if you guys can make a list of sub account with checkboxes so we can check off what sub account affiliates we want to email
You can do this now also.

With the email feature under "Account Grouping"

When an affiliates signs up I sometimes get 3 sign up notifications all with the same info and a different affiliate number, that is simple programming and even when I ask your technical people to fix it nothing happens.

You can also do this, it doesen'd show you automatically, but if you do a lookup on a member it will show every time they bought.

This is where you can find the trial membership customers signing up every 2 months.

Paul, that's because your affiliate has just signed up 3 times. either on purpose or by mistake. Get with the program man.

my main suggestion is this though....go visit a affiliate program running nats, then visit one running mpa3, take all the features and ease of use in both systems and combine them into one crazy cool ccbill system ;)
I couldn't agree more.
