Am I the only one thinking this thread should be a permanent sticky for the next month?
|
1. How about remove the option for the paysite owner to turn off rebills.. or have it email the affiliate if that has happened.
2. Figure out a way to give the affiliate credit when a customer buys a cross sale within the network you are promoting |
I think you should get 2 chance to get the password right before it locks you out and please make it load slower too!
|
THis is probably not possible but...
Not we have so many id's...For each paysite another...Wouldn't it be possible to have one mainID....Let's say 123456 I now wanna promote programA...I join them, and give them my mainID... Then they create a link for me(well ccbill does) www.ccbill.com/programA/123456 Advantage is, I won't mix up ID's...(as affiliate) and program owners can easily add upsales/exits where affiliates gets credit for.... On the accounting side... Select date range--->show checks--->download statement as Word/PDF file |

2. This is a feature already built into the system. Hit me up with an example and Ill explain it.. [email protected] |
OK, my suggestions:
1. Delete option for unused programs gets my vote, too. 2. Counting of Unique Clicks, not only Raw! So, as most of the available scripts do, please distinguish between raw and unique clicks and display a sales per unique ratio. 3. Show which site the sale has been made for, as already suggested. 4. Ok, I know this has nothing to do with the design, but PLEASE PLEASE offer ePassporte as an additional payout option for your new affiliate system. This would be so cool, because I'm sick and tired of paying high bank fees for US$ check withdrawals (as most European webmasters using CCBill probably). |
Please make it more Mac-friendly! Last I checked, it doesn't even work with Safari. Some stats won't work with Firefox on a Mac, either.
|
some really good suggestions here, i am impressed with some of these, keep them up please
|
My suggestion:
The ability to set a different webmaster referral payout for each affiliate. Right now this cannot be customized for each affiliate - it is one number for each program. I would love to pay my affiliates with good webmaster traffic at a higher rate than the standard. |

I kind of miss the upside down envelopes though. |
For god's sake add in campaigns.. and better tracking stats.
The more we know about where the sales come from, the easier it is to make more.. That means more money for everyone. |

Am I the only one who thinks a graphical representation of some/all stats would be nice?
Something like simple graphs for clicks-/uniques-/signups-/...-per-period, so you can recognize trends by a quick glance at the chart instead of grabbing historical data and running the numbers on it. |
universal affiliate ID's. Affiliates should have the same ID across the network regardless of the site they are promoting.
|
havent read through this thread so sorry if its been posted, all i want is nats style campaign support. i send traffic from tgp freesites and avs, tgp and freesites harm my avs site ratios. id like to be able to break the ratios down by campaigns so i could have an avs campaign, a freesite one etc.

I am not a program owner, but I think that giving program owners the ability to add and subtract fields from the standard affiliate sign up page would be nice
like a lot of affiliate sign up forms have a "who would you like to be your account rep" field, or a "where did you find us?".....it would be cool if program owers could add in their own fields |
I suggest allowing for custom Join Forms... I mean "fully" custom. You provide the vars that need to be passed to your backend, and let the webmasters do the rest.

HAHAHAHA.. I will quit if that happens |
Two things I'd like to see.
Hide/Remove Dead or poor performing sponsors by clickable box etc. And Epassporte Payment . Is this possible ? As paying for $30 USD for wires + $10 AUD recieve fee to avoid lost mail problems due to upside down checks that cannot be read in windowed envelopes is very expensive. Otherwise CCBILL Rocks, Still outperforming any other PPS sponsor in both better ratios and money earned with rebills for niche sponsors. Epassporte would make it damn near perfect :winkwink: Is this possible ?. |

so this feature is coming |

TRACKER ID'S for affiliates would be nice :thumbsup
|
Bump for this important thread!
@corvette or Paul Are you thinking about alternative payout methods for the new system, or will you stick to US$ checks/US$ wires only? |

give ccbill affiliates credit for their cross sales on the sponsor join pages, i see it tracks our ccbill affiliate id numbers but does not ever give us a split on the trials
anyway of tracking upsells? |

Would be nice to not have to fill out a form for a simple update of your mailing address. Don't get me wrong, the added security for the most part is definetly a good thing. :)
|
1. make it faster :) (less timeouts would be great...)
2. let us affiliates create campains 3. ref link tracking 4. epassporte payouts!!! 5. centralized place to get banners, links, content etc... 6. a nice design would be great :thumbsup |
I was excited to see this thread, thanks Trixie for pointing it out! Not to be offensive, but ccbill is the most archaic system still running (although last time I was inside Paycom/Epoch admin/stats, which was a couple years ago, they were actually light years behind) -- which is why I'm so pleased to see changes on the horizon! Yay! Here's my .02 Any of these may already be on the plate, but here they are :)
-- Ability to do transaction lookups (mostly affiliate-side), like by last 5 digits of transaction id. I keep a running log in excel of all ACTIVE subscriptions so I have an idea when rebills are expected, and can then project anticipated income from rebills. The way I have to do this now is, run a lookup for past 30 days, and go through one by one (trial then recurring then rebills) and remove cancelled subscriptions, and add any new trials or recurrings that I may have neglected to add when the sale was actually made. Perhaps even better would be a "Display all active" tool, which would simply display (without duplicating like past lookups does) all active subscriptions from all programs for the affiliate. -- MAYBE track ALL referring URLS instead of on SALES ONLY. Beautiful feature of nats, I can derive what sites are sending traffic, how much, AND how effective that traffic is. I'm sure this would likely increase the overhead due to added storage requirements on the database files, but it's pretty helpful information and something we get with the software guys (mpa3, nats) NOTE: To the guys talking about site breakdown within stats remote, right-click CCBill Affiliate, select SHOW BREAKDOWN. If you were meaning breakdown of your own program account, yeah, I don't see where that's an option yet, but surely JB and the crew over there could at least let it break down by subaccount id? That'd be a stats remote update though, not CCB. The other things are just simple well known issues that I assume are already being fixed and have already been mentioned, like the AGES it takes to run large historical lookups, stop the timeouts, track uniques not raws, etc. Quote:

tracker id's for affiliates

This thread is one of the best on GFY in a while because it is people that actually use a system to makes sales talking in positive terms on how to improve it rather than just throwing negatives around.

Not design-related, but please add Epassporte as a payment method to the system. This is what stops me for promoting CCBill only programs. I'm sure that there are so many like me.

hardcoded aff id or query_string
I see this perfect world
1. ccbill requests all programs to make a clean tour for affilliates (no outside links to toplists or anywhere at all). 2. ccbill has a tech support helping(installing) clueless program owners to implement referal tracking using query_string. (no cookie) so I would have two link codes one for cookie tracking another with query_string tracking. If program owner does it himself the ccbill should validate it before showing it for affilliate. I would like to get a credit regardless of user's cookie settings or zango. I would prefer to have a copy of programs tour pages on my site then I could take care of everyting myself but I guess no program would allow that because they could not shave then. So in programs report I would like to see: 1. This program uses query_string to track sales: yes/no 2. this program allow you to host their tours: yes/no 3. this program has a clean tour located at url: yes/no |

There is a need for the affiliate interface to also include fhg's and other marketing tools that programmes offer (other than just banners which many affiliates don't use - )
And, if new (say) fhg's had been added (say by XYZ cash) during the last time an affiliate had last checked his stats, a notice on the main stats page could then inform him - (Along with any aditional info the programme may want the affiliate to know) This would 1) insure the affiliate had this news and 2) Cut out the need to email affiliates - |
