If i don't eat meat for a few days i get all nervous. I wake up and the first thing i think about is a big fat piece of red meat.

Sure. Food as a whole is very addictive... fucking everything about food is awesome except having to shit it out afterwards. Though that's a turn on for some people. Usually Germans. I'm German. :|

I had all of my wisdom teeth pulled out and couldn't eat solid food for 3 days. By day 3 I had a craving for steak. Which I thought was weird, but I think my body was missing its normal amount of protein.

maybe if you crave meat all the time you shouet some bloodwork done and see if you have an iron deficiency
our bodies have weird ways of telling us what we need sometimes lol

it doesn't necessarily mean that you are addicted. It may actually mean that your body needs some kind of nutrient in the mea. Some researchers have come to the conclusion that cravings are the way your body tells you that you have some kind of a deficit.

I agree with the posters above that say cravings can be the body's way of letting you know you need something.

And Franck, blood work done just a month ago is not indicative of what is going on in your body today. The main thing is to note and monitor any new/changing symptoms.

Don't worry. It's natural to want to eat meat. It's part of human nature. You can't be addicted to meat for the same reason you can't be addicted to breathing or sleeping. It's natural.

If you don't eat meat for three days it's perfectly normal to crave it.

I eat a lb. daily, so I guess I'm kinda addicted, lol. Besides this, grilled low fat meat is one of the healthiest thing to eat.
