Children need boundaries. Giving them choices when it comes to their health? I thought that was our job as parents.

What do they know about health?

We can give them choices, such as which would you prefer, broccoli or string beans, but other than that? I don't see how they can make an informed decision when they have no education about healthy foods.

It's my job to teach my child manners, how to keep from killing himself when he's in and out of the house and survival. Sorry, but Burger King is not on the list as a necessity for survival. Learning how to prepare healthy foods, however, is. And, that starts at a very early age.
