Any smacktalk for tonight's MNF matchup? Ravens vs Broncos

I say Baltimore is going to own Denver.

Denver (2-1) are at home and coming off a bye week, but Baltimore are 4 and 0 and red hot.

I say Ravens by at least a TD. :D

You are fucking nuts.

the worst bet ever is betting against Denever at home.

not to mention denver is coming off a by and baltimore is most likely tired from the pound of a game vs the chargers.

Sorry, Denver hasn't looked all that shit hot this year so far. The Ravens have.

4-0 trumps @home+bye week in this one, sorry.

Ravens must win by 5 or more for it to mean anything to me.

If they pull it off I stand to profit nicely though. :D

I've watched every Ravens game and while they have played well...they haven't looked dominant. beating denver at home would be a big accomplishment for a team that still hasn't hit it's stride.

Pfft, assumptions man. ASSumptions.... what if I told you I have $$ on a 6 game parlay and all I need is a Ravens win tonight to collect? :D

Denver sucked right out of the gate with a pathetic loss to St. Louis. Then they barely squeaked by Kansas city in week 2, and finally redeemed themselves (a little) in week 3 with a win over NE. Tonight's game is their first real test as far as I'm concerned and I've watched them play... I don't think they're up to it.

Baltimore on the other hand DESTROYED Tampa in week 1, DESTROYED Oakland in week 2, eeked out a win against the browns in week 3, then beat the mighty Chargers last week. Undefeated bro... undefeated.

Broncos are going to have to pull their heads out of their asses to win tonight.

I'm a Ravens fan and when I first saw the line on this game, I wanted to jump all over it because I thought it was an obvious win. Usually, when I think something is a sure thing, I end up being wrong. Vegas oddsmakers know their shit. I hope I'm wrong and the Ravens roll

Oh I'd never go so far as to call this an "obvious win" for the Ravens. I've made my picks and I need a decisive win tonight, that's all. :D

Points I used to consider the outcome of this game:

1. The Broncos haven't scored more than 17 points in a game this year.
2. Steve McNair has led two fourth-quarter comebacks and has already thrown five TDs.
3. The Ravens defense has an interception in every game this year, and Jake Plummer has thrown four picks in three games. Baltimore has INTs as a team..
4. The Broncos struggle to rush the passer. They only have four sacks (one every 21 pass attempts).
5. McNair gets a lot out of his tight ends. Combined, Todd Heap and Daniel Wilcox have 26 receptions, all five TDs and 15 first downs.
6. Ravens defense has given up three points after halftime this season.
7. Kicker Matt Stover is 8 for 8 in field goals (3 for 3 over 40 yards).
8. Ray Lewis did not play in the Denver loss last year but now leads the team with 35 tackles, one sack and an interception.
9. The Ravens defense has already recorded 17 sacks.

definitely all good points. denver has some crazy winning % at home though and especially on Monday night. I hope the Ravens have it wrapped up by halftime..the crowd could be a very big factor in the 4th qtr.

Ideally I'd like to see the Ravens up 27-0 after the first quarter.

I'm already bet to the hilt for week 5. Week 6 too.

Looking at week 7's games, might be something worth betting on there, I'll have to think on it.

Anyone want to bet with Metaman? Take the Ravens, might be a quick few hun for someone :D

Take Meta's bet offer above. He's good for it if he loses.

"What's a few hun more?" --- lol..... I know I know, but I set my betting limit a loooong time ago and never go over it, no exceptions.

If the Ravens win tonight I'll have some bucks to bet with though, ha ha.

Man all I can say is I'm glad I didn't break down and decide to take Mataboy up on his bet offer. Was damn tempted. :D

Had a great week in the pools regardless, but a win tonight could have put me in the winners column in the MP pool.

The first 3rd of the game looked great for the Ravens. McNair (and his receivers) fell apart in the 2nd half.
Result: my pick = owned.

lol

Time to start looking at next Sunday's picks. :D

I'll reserve judgement on the bad weather argument until I catch the postgame show and see what McNair's take on it is.

I am not going to tell you how to bet CDLisp but Denver barely EVER loses at home, it is like a clinch at home alot of times, the spread of course makes it a little harder to play it but at least i stay away from the game if it is to high.

also denver had a weeks rest and them at home wow, denver is back for sure.
