Oh I'd never go so far as to call this an "obvious win" for the Ravens. I've made my picks and I need a decisive win tonight, that's all. :D
Points I used to consider the outcome of this game:
1. The Broncos haven't scored more than 17 points in a game this year.
2. Steve McNair has led two fourth-quarter comebacks and has already thrown five TDs.
3. The Ravens defense has an interception in every game this year, and Jake Plummer has thrown four picks in three games. Baltimore has INTs as a team..
4. The Broncos struggle to rush the passer. They only have four sacks (one every 21 pass attempts).
5. McNair gets a lot out of his tight ends. Combined, Todd Heap and Daniel Wilcox have 26 receptions, all five TDs and 15 first downs.
6. Ravens defense has given up three points after halftime this season.
7. Kicker Matt Stover is 8 for 8 in field goals (3 for 3 over 40 yards).
8. Ray Lewis did not play in the Denver loss last year but now leads the team with 35 tackles, one sack and an interception.
9. The Ravens defense has already recorded 17 sacks.
