Just signed the paper work to buy a house in Austin but I already have it rented out on a years lease. Plan to sell that house as soon as I can for a quick profit, then buy another to move into.

So for now I'm staying here in Florida in a rented place.

Owning could be more stressful - this is true but here in the US interest on a mortgage is tax deductable = worthwhile = lot's of $ could have been written off over 16 yrs

to be honest - i don't know. i know renting is throwing money out of the window - but in the past i wasn't always in the situation of even being able to get a mortgage
