its sad but i got stuck doing that for an extended period a couple of years ago after the back to back south florida hurricaines. by the time i got some loot put together after the cost of houses in the area was up 200-300%.

OG LennyT 10-08-2006 07:24 PM

BusterBunny 10-08-2006 07:28 PM

i am a squatter:thumbsup

MaDalton 10-08-2006 07:29 PM

i prefer to rent - never lived more than 3 years in the same place since i moved out 16 years ago. and already preparing the next move atm. so owning something would make that even more stressful

MaddCaz 10-08-2006 07:32 PM

yuck. I own. Make balls over cock, and I need a resolution... :(

Evil Doer 10-08-2006 07:33 PM

I own multiple properties... and I rent one of them out

Where are you two moving to?
WG

crockett 10-08-2006 08:06 PM

Can I pick both?

Just signed the paper work to buy a house in Austin but I already have it rented out on a years lease. Plan to sell that house as soon as I can for a quick profit, then buy another to move into.

So for now I'm staying here in Florida in a rented place.

Donny 10-08-2006 08:07 PM

Currently own, but no doubt I'll soon live in a cardboard box...

squishypimp 10-08-2006 08:08 PM

im renting right now :)

Owning could be more stressful - this is true but here in the US interest on a mortgage is tax deductable = worthwhile = lot's of $ could have been written off over 16 yrs

:2 cents:

Don't know how it is where you're from though

Wiggles 10-08-2006 08:11 PM

i bought my first home in June :)

selena 10-08-2006 08:12 PM

I own.

But when the manchild and munchkin are off on their own, I may say fuck it, sell it all, and live in my car. Upkeep/maintenance suck.

dodger21 10-08-2006 08:14 PM

own a couple

karrimuse 10-08-2006 08:15 PM

to be honest - i don't know. i know renting is throwing money out of the window - but in the past i wasn't always in the situation of even being able to get a mortgage :upsidedow

i'll move to Czech Rep. next year and if i like it there i might buy something cause right now it's still super cheap and a good investment for sure

biftek 10-08-2006 09:46 PM

much cheaper to rent , what with the house prices and interest rates and other associated costs with home ownership

can bank my money as i was paying of a mortage thus making more money over time with interest and other credit

Spunky 10-08-2006 09:51 PM

TexasDreams 10-08-2006 09:58 PM
