How many bookmark sales do you get?

not really a business thread as I dont see how one could optimise with this informtion.(if not please enlighten me!)

But out of curiosty and being a stats freak. How many of sales are bookmarks % wise

about %25-27% of my sales are bookmarks, what about you?

Yeh also with nats it annoys me of that with bookmarks you cant see which page they originally came from

Cam sites make a killing on bookmark sales.
But I think it's mostly recurring or repeat customers.

Are you speaking of new direct sales/customers only? or sales referred through a bookmarked portal/free site.

K. I'll bite. How do you determine a "bookmark sale" ?

They arrive at your site with no ref url and join your sponsor -- is that a "bookmark sale" ?

Would you consider returning visitors as bookmarkers? Or do you have some special way to track them. Will a stats program know if someone clicked through from there favorites list in there browser?

Returning visitors with no referrer. Though not completely accurate, it's close.

Nah, I was talking signups. for example after a day, you check your stats in nats, and you see which url's your sales or hits have come from. and in nats, there is at the bottom of that list the option bookmark and often that gets signups. Im just wondering what percentage that number is to the rest of your signups.

Not a big deal, but i'd like to know
