I had to install Trillian the other day because my support ICQ would lock up at "Loading contacts" and use 100% of the CPU. I read on their support board several other people with the same exact problem.
Trillian works though, loads my contact list fine, didnt hardly have to do anything but download and install. Trillian works with ICQ, Yahoo and MSN Messenger too BTW, it's not like starting from scratch, just an alternative that seems to function well.

half of my icq list seems to have randomly disappeared.. it may such but i prefer aim 10000%. ;)

I have the lockup at loading contacts too. Anyone know where the message history is, or if I can save it? I do not wanna lose that. Gah.
