ICQ is acting all whack!
 

Some weird shit happening. I am beggining to think its haunted. :helpme

ICQ is evil...

What else am I supposed to use? it seems to be what most webmasters use for communications.

I had to install Trillian the other day because my support ICQ would lock up at "Loading contacts" and use 100% of the CPU. I read on their support board several other people with the same exact problem.
Trillian works though, loads my contact list fine, didnt hardly have to do anything but download and install.

Trillian works with ICQ, Yahoo and MSN Messenger too BTW, it's not like starting from scratch, just an alternative that seems to function well.

half of my icq list seems to have randomly disappeared.. it may such but i prefer aim 10000%. ;)

I have the lockup at loading contacts too. Anyone know where the message history is, or if I can save it? I do not wanna lose that. Gah.

I just spent half my morning going through my history :( yours is probably in the same place, which is:

C:\Documents and Settings\<Your Name here>\Application Data\ICQLite

at least icq can't lose that since its on your harddrive, the contacts are all on their servers.

I went crazy after logging in and saw that all my contacts disappeared..

is ok for me so far :)
