Best Computer to Buy??

Well, my personal computer took a huge crash last night and is fried. I am in the market for a new computer and wondered what everyone else was using. I have 2 dell desktops currently that I use for work and a macbook and a dell laptop for work. I am looking for a personal computer that could also be used for work. I'm probably going to make this new one a work computer and use one of the others for personal.

So, basically what I need is something that will be quite high powered. I do a lot of video editing and also do web development. I have been looking at dell and alienware, but have heard bad things about them. Can anyone reccomend a good brand. Before anyone says build it yourself, I am not skilled enough in building PC's to build my own. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks all.

I still recommend a Dell...but be sure to get a Precision Workstation...you'll get a better PC than if you get a Dimension...and you'll also get US Tech Support...not so if you get a Dimension

Good to hear Dell is working well. Heard mixed reviews about them. If I go with them, I'm looking at an XPS system. Klen, you know how long it would take me to learn to build a comp. I know the basics, just not how to put everything together.

Thanks for the help guys, I think I will be going with a dell.

Let me know if you can think of any other good companies though.
