Does anyone use mailing lists to create a bulk of their everyday traffic?

Personally, No. But i'd just like to inform you on behalf of all the people here that using double opt-in newsletters to receive traffic is <i>not</i> spam.

"mailing lists" are 99% a sham. especially if you don't "own" the program/company the user originally signed up with, you're just buying crap emails and spamming people like me.
