That was just hype talk to pump up the interest in the auction and hopefully the end price.

Domainers like to use the phrase, "a domain is worth what someone else is willing to pay for it" when trying to justify their high value estimations. Yet when a no reserve auction is done and the true value of the domain is shown, they then contradict themselves and claim it was "undersold" or someone got a steal when in reality it was never worth what they thought it was.

That or DaddyHalbucks is just a very good marketer and salesperson who is undaunted by what other people think. Folks come here and post all kinds of superlative claims and valuations on all kinds of products and services. To me MilfLover.com and MilfLove.com are better than a plural and the icing on the cake was the seller's persistence. The final sell price was a big trade-off - the parking of that domain would need 75k type-ins to recoup the same revenue.

Value is in the eye of the beholder. Domains sometimes aren't very liquid. The pool of buyers isn't that big. Domains can be like real estate sometimes. GFY isn't the best place to sell a domain. Frankly, there aren't many good places to sell a domain.

Anyway, now that I have been paid, here is the bombshell:





Everything I said before.. is still true. It is still a great potential brand. It is still worth alot of money, closer to $38,000 than $3,800.
