The Butterfly Effect 2

Thoughts on this? Seems to me that Copywood just simply can not come out with a unique idea... they either need to remake everything or take a finished story and take the premise of it but make a completely different story around it which has no other relation to the original story what so ever.

it's sad they could not have left that one alone, the original movie was fairly well done !

I've always wanted them to make a Back to the Future part 4. Butterfly Effect was the closest thing to it, so I liked the movie. I didn't even know they made a second one.

Neither. It's just a different story about a guy who can do the same thing as the guy in the first movie.

Then it is not interesting.. If the idea is already old, it would be hard to see it - will make the comparisons all the way.

It's a direct to DVD release for some time in 2007. That's about all I can find out.

And the actors can be found here: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0457297/
Eric Lively
Erica Durance

movies are just as lame as TV now
I've seen enough people subjecting themselves to eating bugs for a lifetime
maybe they should be retrained to come up with something original

I thought the first one was a great movie, surprised it didn't do better. Hopefully they will get Jessica Alba this time for the distressed crack whore.

why come up with a unique idea when you can make a cool couple of hundred million off redoing the same idea under the same name with far less marketing costs?!

Take Matrix 3 for example .... 2 was crap, but 3 still made over 400 million ...

Matrix 1
Budget 63million
Earnings 456million

Matrix 2
Budget 150million (were 2 & 3 made together?)
Earnings 736million

Matrix 3
Budget 150million
Earnings 424million

Who cares if the audience is bitchin' when you're pulling in 400 million from their pockets!!!

We're all suckers.

Yes, Reloaded and Revolutions were filmed together, along with scenes for the videogame "Enter The Matrix"

i liked the first one, for the most part. it was enjoyable. the second one was horrible, i kept falling asleep watching it and it just kept getting worse. from now on, i'm not renting anything that goes straight to dvd.
