A few thoughts, first off Jesus doesnt care what you do for a living. What Jesus cared about was how you treat others. Jesus said there is only one commandment love one another as I loved you. When I was in catholic HS the priest that taught bible study told us. The old testament is fairy tales made up to keep the people in line, the new testament was the word of god. If you notice alot less rules in the new testament its all about loving each other.
People feel that Jesus will fill up that hole in there lives and he wont. If you have a drug problem Jesus aint going to fix, you have to fix it. Donny I dont know you but you have a wonderful girl who loves you,a great business to throw that all away on mans judgement not gods is not wise to me. Formqal religion is brainwashing for the most part. The gospel of thomas which people believed is the closest to the actual word of christ was banned by the church because it said things like you dont need a church Im every where and dont petition the lord with prayer. Church didnt like that cant control the masses with that thinking.
