Non ballers who want a good start a home theater

http://www.woot.com/ today has a nice projector screen for like 30 bux

i'd get on it and wait a few weeks tell they do another projector deal
lst month they had a killer deal on one

Ive got 2 screens, just waiting on a decent projector at a good price. They've come down a lot lately.

God forbid it's 'cheap consumer grade' shit, but the Philips DVP-642/37 DVD Player is a must have. It does DVD-R/DVD+R, MPEG (duh), DivX (not QPEL), MP3 Discs, JPEG/Picture Discs, and is software settable for NTSC/PAL, as well as about 10 clicks from being Region 0 (everything).

It does have a few nice output formats, and it's sub-$100 these days.
