Number one way to stop a bug is to drink vodka and orange juice until you are pissed drunk. When you wake up the next day the flu will be gone. You may be hungover but that can be fixed with pain killers.

If it's a flu, just drink lots and lots of water until you puke.

If it's a cold, bundle up, take Contac and eat chicken soup.

I think I might hate doctors MORE than I hate being sick lol.
Only times Ive seen doctors were when things were really bad:

-Broke my ankle in 5 spots
-Dislocated my wrist up & back above my forearm & when they popped it back, they managed to break my forearm
-Got to find out Im allergic to "cilins" by passing out for a few days
-Was stabbed in the head
-broke my nose
-cracked skull
-pinched spinal nerve that may need to be operated

So yeah, track record with doctors isnt high up there.. to be sick & go doesnt seem worth it to me lol

update:

Feeling much better guys! Thanks for all the advice.. seems this is what worked for me:

Drank water & juices all day long
Spicey soup for lunch
Jolt CherryBomb
some fresh air (that helpped allot actually, felt good just walking around last night)
a few drinks at the bar
some tea & soup
bundled up in sweats & blankies & just sweated it off..

still not feeling 100% or anything, but WAY better than yesterday...

so spice/fresh air/drinking/sweat all seemed to work really good together..

yah, i been fighting a cold, too. fuckin sore throat. everything else fine, just the sore throat, where you dread swallowing, cuz you know it's gonna hurt.

im prolly gonna be hittin up fiesta and rollings 2nite, and whatever else comes along

Jeff....the best way is to bite on a chili pepper. Eat it all, even if you can't take the heat. You'll sweat the shit out of whatever you have!!!

Sore throats suck, that Ive always taken Buckleys & halls when out & at work etc.. at home tho.. & its kinda gross, but shot of warm (room temp) JD
ALWAYS works (for me anyways)

sounds amazing, but yes I have been extremelely sick and fucked up at a few trade shows. SO, a friend Evil Dan intoduced to Berocca. It is a efforvessant pill you drop in water and chug. Now if any of you have raged with us before.....then seen me the next day, it is because of this. Now they don't sell it here state-side, and when Evil sent it to me, i got a call from customs asking waht it was........they finally sent it through but it was a pain (much worth it) If anyone wants the ultimate hangover "etc" cure hit him up......
