Might be good at the very beginning. Then people would start to worry about their income and signups would drop I suspect. Martial Law and Curfews generally are not good for economy.

I was thinking just the reverse. At first it would be great. But then as businesses that rely on after dark sales, as part of their day, start ti suffer, they would have to start to lay people off. And then people would worry about their jobs, and money.

Any one out there live in cities with nice local mardi gras celebrations? A city close by called St. joseph, MO (www.saintjoseph.com) has a 1 day celebration complete with parade, the works. The city is about 80,000 people and yet the celebration draws 25,000 people downtown.. Pretty wild!
